Clean and big rooms, not overcrowded and close proximity to the 5th Ave of Playa del Carmen ideal for families. Very good service from all staff (front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and etc). Special thank you to Francisco and Daniel for a very good service provided to us. They are trialing a buffet breakfast during Sundays in the rooftop, which I think is very pleasing to costumers.
Hotel was nice. very good location, rooms were big and clean. Windows did not have very good soundproofing but was not an issue as the area is not noisy and many rooms have window to the interior of the hotel. Breakfast was not that great in the sense that there were not many options to choose from. Staff was nice. There is a parking underground that with a doorman. Did not have issues going in and out (most of the time there was someone there, and when it was not, they quickly sent someone)
This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars! The service was great as soon as we walked through the door. We lucked out when we were able to be upgraded to a bigger room at no additional cost! We were here during an impending hurricane- Zeta. The staff delivered dinner, breakfast and lunch to all the guests in their rooms during the storm. The rooms are neat, clean, spacious, airy and very homey! My one day and night stay was amazing! The staff is amazing! If you are in the area, this is definitely the place to stay!! Highly recommended!!
What a gem of a place. We were two girls and took the 2 bedroom suite, it was really nice to have a living room and kitchen and some privacy with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Each room has a tv. The location is great, 2min walk to 5th avenue and maybe 7min to the beach. They have a deal with Mamitas beach club which we appreciated alot! Their pool is nice and clean, we went there twice and we're the only ones there. The staff is really nice and caring, they were able to accomodate our last minute date changes due to a hurricane. Big shout out to Alondra for the wonderful service. Definitely recommend this boutique hotel. The only thing I would change is having breakfast included. It gets old eating the same thing, I would rather not include it in my hotel package and have more options to eat for breakfast. Overall amazing stay! Thank you for the hospitality.
Great, very clean hotel just 1 street off 5th Ave near all the fun and restaurants in Playa. Maria our maid and Maria at the front desk were great and went out of their way to help. ( yes, both ladies were named Maria ) . The hotel looked fairly new so everything still worked well and was clean with no bugs. (clean and no bugs being very important) . The rooftop pool was great to cool off in and had a nice sitting area. The hotel had no gym and in a perfect world it would have been nice to have one. The hotel is within 5 minute walking distance to 2 super markets and lots of great restaurants. Breakfast was included and Antonio always looked after us and made sure our coffee was full. Within walking distance to everything close to the beach.
I visited Serenity on a Friday night for their rooftop salsa/bachata event, and it was such a great time! My husband and I danced all night long. They also offer fantastic margaritas at a great price with a 2-for-1 deal. The steak nachos were incredible. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
The entrance to this hotel was a little questionable, and there were some small additional charges we hadn't expected (we booked on hotels.com) but once we were checked in there were many pleasant surprises. The rooms were modern and clean, the rooftop pool was lovely and the included breakfast in the morning was very nice. There are also several excellent restaurants very close, and a bakery across the street that had some very good pastries. The service was extremely accommodating and took care of anything we needed! They didn't have a liquor license, but made sure we had anything we requested. We would definitely recommend this, it was a really good value!
We have stayed at this boutique hotel twice now. We loved it the first time so a return visit was in order. The location is ideal, 2 blocks to grocery store and 4 blocks to beach. Not much of a beach so best to stay up on pool deck. Our 1st visit was very quiet. 2nd visit no sleep for 2 nights as there was loud music up on deck till 1:30am. Not so serene....Rooms are large and you get a kitchen area!
